How do I get access to Goin’?

How do I know if my university has Goin’ community?

To know if your university has a Goin’ community, please ask your university’s administrative office. If your university has a Goin’ community they will provide you with the registration link. If you are unsure where to contact your administration office click here to view contact list of universities.

How can I turn on push notifications for Goin' on my device?

You can enable push notifications for Goin' by adjusting them in your mobile settings.

How can I disable email notifications?

You can disable email notifications by updating your preferences directly from any email you receive from us.

How do I connect with other students?

To connect with your peer students first you need to create an account (you can find this under 'How do I get access to Goin''). Login and then click on the ‘Connect’ tab. There you can find prospective students who you can connect with by clicking on the button ‘Connect’.

What is the Goin’ code of conduct?

The Goin’ code of conduct serves as a comprehensive guideline outlining acceptable behaviors and practices for all users within our platform. How do I delete my account?

To delete your account you need to log in on the Goin´ app, go to the ‘Profile’ tab, click on ‘Edit profile’, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Delete account’. Please note that this action is irreversible and will permanently remove all your data associated with the account.

Can I have a double nationality in my profile?

At the moment, the option to display dual nationality in profiles is not yet available. If you possess multiple nationalities, kindly select your preferred or primary nationality, as this will be showcased on your profile. You can also add your second nationality under the section ‘About me…’ in your profile, so your fellow students will be able to see it as well.

How do I unblock a user?

Unfortunately, once a user has been blocked, it is not currently possible to undo or reverse this action. Once blocked, the user remains inaccessible on the platform.

How do I change my status of ‘Current student’ to ‘New student’?

Unfortunately, this action cannot be undone. If you have chosen ‘Current student’ by mistake and want to reverse this action, you need to delete your account and create it again. To delete an account, please refer to ‘How do I delete my account?’.

If you are a new student, you will immediately change status from ‘New student’ to ‘Current student’ after the semester has started.
