A Community Approach To Housing

In the Netherlands, like many places, students face housing challenges. At Goin', we're deeply committed to supporting students with their housing needs. This commitment was evident at RSM, where our efforts greatly impacted the housing situation. Over 400 students actively participated in housing chats, and 74% found the information they needed through Goin’s Discovery Module. Furthermore, many students shared valuable tips, found future roommates in the 1-1 module, and located apartments together.

Our approach also streamlines the student housing process through various initiatives. We facilitate connections for students seeking roommates and create specialized groups dedicated to housing discussions, ensuring a safe and reliable exchange of information. Our platform assists students in collaborating on apartment hunting and provides timely information on housing, guiding them to trustworthy sources. Additionally, we encourage the sharing of tips and experiences, making the often overwhelming task of finding housing more manageable within a supportive community environment.

Goin' was implemented for both undergraduate and postgraduate offer holders at RSM with a clear objective: to enhance student experience, engagement, and sense of belonging, while ensuring that top students not only start but also continue their education there. Given RSM's stringent admission standards, students are highly valued, having already been the focus of considerable time and investment. This year, with the introduction of Goin' to the RSM community, the team observed a notable increase in student enrollment, reflecting a significant improvement in conversion rates. This success highlights Goin's impact in encouraging students to commit to their offer at RSM.
